Activities at the Center

The NAEYC Technology and Young Children Interest Forum invites you to visit our Technology Resource Center (Room A315) at the NAEYC Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA, November 8- 11, 2006.

The International Society for Technology Education (ISTE) is co-hosting the Technology Resource Center. ISTE is the largest teacher-based, nonprofit organization in the field of educational technology. Its mission is to help K-12 classroom teachers, and the organization is currently interested in becoming more involved in supporting advancements in technology for early education.

Here are some highlights of activities at the Technology Resource Center:

  • Free E-Mail and Internet Access
  • Software demonstrations
  • Samples and demonstrations of technology-rich lesson plans & activities
  • A model classroom with computers and children's software
  • Showcase of technology tools by our Resource Room sponsors
  • A Sponsor Focus Zone showcasing sponsors' technology tools

Our annual business meeting will be held on Friday, November 10th from 7:00-8:30 in Atlanta at the Westin Peachtree Plaza, International Meeting Room E. Join us as we discuss the future of the Technology and Young Children Interest Forum. Enter to win door prizes..
