Presentation: Using short iMovie video clips to enhance the documentation and interpretation of children's work and play
Presenter: George Forman, President, Videatives, Inc.

Explore a rather unique method of combining brief (20 - 50 seconds) video clips hyperlinked to words in a page of text to guide teachers of young children in their professional development. The text explains the significance of a child observation. instead of a "voice over" as in an educational video tape with a narrative, this is a "video under" - a "videative." The text both describes and explains the play episode and the pop up video clip gives the text context, nuance, and authenticity.
